Design Studio - Public Space Design - ' Infinity Track '

The ‘infinity track’ is a jogging track situated right next to the Bandra fort. It is not only a jogging track but also poses as a viewing deck which has a breath taking view of the
Arabian Sea. This jogging track is enclosed in a metal structure which is clad with glass . It also has some open vents within the glass façade to help in the ventilation and circulation of air within the glass tube. This jogging track has four tracks two each for the same direction of movement of the people.  The last track is lined with benches at every ten feet. This enables people to relax here and enjoy the view.
The course of this jogging track begins on land and then leads the joggers into the glass tunnel which goes into the sea about 500 ft. far. The maximum width of the infinity track is about 500ft.
The total amount of metres of one circulation of the infinity track is 900 m. the benefit of no obstruction enables the joggers to multiply this as per his or her requirement.
The  portion of the infinity jogging track is way above the Sea level thus keeping it safe from waves during high tide.
At a certain point the structure overlaps. This has been incorporated into design to help in avoiding a collision with the tracks. This overlapping of the structure helps in the smooth flow of traffic and better circulation.
Some of the advantages of this project the ‘jogging track’ is that one can jog and exercise thought the year. With the help of this glass tunnel weather will no longer affect a joggers routine. Jogging and exercising with such an amazing view can be very relaxing and has a calming effect. Also it will provide the visitor with a whole new experience altogether.
